Bio

I am a 52-year old female in New York City. I feel that who I am today is defined by the events that happened in my world in my lifetime, and even way before I was born. I happen to have ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease since January, 2004, and this forced me to quit work and take a very early retirement at only 48. Therefore, my lifestyle is unfortunately defined by my disability. Certain medications I take have caused me to have some vivid dreams of late, featuring all kinds of people, places, and events from my past -- as child, 60s teenybopper, Anglophile, student, world traveler, airline employee, European-descendant Ashkenazi Jew, baby-boomer with depression-era parents, grad student, travel-industry sales professional, secondary-school teacher, and disabled middle-aged person.
